8th grade students observed the effects of surface tension by seeing how many drops of water will sit on the surface of a penny. They also compared the difference that occurs when adding a surfactant such as dish soap.

Mrs. Messmer's 7th grade honors class created their own coordinate plane pictures. Students had to draw a picture on the coordinate plane and identify the points used to make their pictures. They then had to create an instructions worksheet with the points listed. The students did an excellent job at creating their own coordinate pictures.

Did you know all of Santa’s reindeer must be females? Male caribou lose their antlers in early December, but females keep theirs through Christmas and into the spring. Mrs. Weisman’s science classes learned some reindeer facts and created their own reindeer faces out of their hands and feet today. Our 6th graders are pretty creative!
